Contact forms

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include but is not limited to your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, or demographic information. In accordance with state law, we are required to collect information such as Occupation, Employer, and the city and state of the employer for political action committee contributions.

Communications

We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that promote our advocacy efforts and grassroots organizing work.

If you complete a form on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies or via a FastAction profile with our third party database system, Every Action. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you complete another form. These cookies will last for one year. The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Who we share your data with

Our primary data third party administrators are Every Action, Inc. and Donor Pro, which collects payment processing information and stores user personal data. Credit card information is not stored within the system, unless you are a recurring monthly donor.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile indefinitely until we are asked to remove your data from our list. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have a FastAction profile, managed through our third party database processor, Every Action, on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 5/6/20 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically.
